Belarus ratifies agreements on mutual assistance in customs matters with China, Syria

MINSK (BelTA) – Belarus' Council of the Republic ratified the agreements of the Belarusian government with the governments of China and Syria on cooperation and mutual assistance in customs matters on 15 October, BelTA has learned.
Chairman of Belarus' State Customs Committee Yuri Senko noted that the agreements will promote the cooperation between the countries, help ensure proper application of customs regulations, and facilitate transit through the customs territory of these countries.
The implementation of the agreements will promote harmonization of customs procedures and help enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of customs services.
