Chinese embassy provides financial support to BSU language rooms

MINSK (BelTA) – The Chinese embassy has provided financial support to equip two language rooms of the Department of Philology at the Belarusian State University (BSU), BelTA learnt from the BSU press service.
Classrooms are designed for 30 working places and represent a set of multimedia equipment and software to study foreign languages, Chinese in particular. It is expected that honing their language skills here will be students learning Chinese philology. At present this specialty is taught to 120 students.
The official opening ceremony of the language rooms took place on 27 November with the participation of Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Cui Qiming.
Language rooms are classrooms fitted with language-learning systems. Such classrooms apply any education software to study various subjects.
