Chinese firms to display products at Minsk expo 18-20 November

MINSK (BelTA) – An expo of goods and services from China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region will be held in Minsk on 18 to 20 November, BelTA learned from the company Belinterexpo, the organizer of the event.

Partaking in the expo will be more than a hundred companies and 160 businessmen from the two Chinese regions. “The event will be useful both for representatives of companies and enterprises and consumers,” the organizers believe.

The expo will open with the Belarusian-Chinese forum on trade and economic cooperation. The event will be attended by representatives of Belarusian ministries and government agencies, the Chinese Embassy in Belarus, and representatives of the Departments of Commerce of China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region and Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region. All in all, partaking in the forum will be some 250 Belarusian and Chinese businessmen. The forum will be followed by the official opening of the expo.

“Belarusian businessmen will have an opportunity to establish trade and economic cooperation with the leading Chinese producers of equipment, vehicles, textile, knitwear, pharmaceuticals, household goods, and foodstuffs,” the organizers noted.

The Chinese companies will present their achievements and potential in tourism, education, innovative technologies, logistics, construction, and manufacturing industry. Financial and investment companies will also take part in the expo.

“Visitors to the expo will have a wonderful chance to learn more about China, its culture and products and establish business ties,” the organizers of the expo stressed.
