Belarus, China plan to set up joint venture to produce bilberry extract

MINSK (BelTA) - Belarus and China plan to set up a joint venture to produce a bilberry extract, Chairman of the Board of the Belcoopsoyuz, the union of consumer cooperative societies, Valery Ivanov told reporters.
"Belcoopsoyuz together with Chinese partners continues to work on setting up the facilities to manufacture the bilberry extract. The first results will be known in the first half of the year,” said Valery Ivanov. The new facility will mainly use Belarusians bilberries.
With regard to cooperation with China in the field of fur animal breeding, Belcoopsoyuz intends to organize direct deliveries of fur pelts to the country (without auctions). “In addition, the Chinese have expressed their willingness to participate in the projects to develop the production of fur goods in our country,” said Valery Ivanov. Belcoopsoyuz also looks forward to the cooperation in the field of fur animal breeding with Greece.
