Belarus and China have agreed to work together to expedite the implementation of the joint project such as the Chinese-Belarusian industrial park and the construction of a plant to produce passenger cars. These issues were discussed by Deputy Prime Minister of Belarus Anatoly Tozik and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Belarus Cui Qiming in a meeting on 24 February, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian government.

The Belarus-China Friendship Society is a reliable bridge of public diplomacy between the two countries, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Belarus Cui Qiming said during an event dedicated to the 55th anniversary of the society held in the House of Friendship on 24 February, BelTA has learnt.

The construction of the first buildings in the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park is supposed to start in May-June 2014. The timeframe was mentioned at a meeting of Vice Premier of Belarus Anatoly Tozik and top executives of the Chinese company CAMCE, the press service of the Belarus government told BelTA.
