Belarus to hold talks with China Eximbank

MINSK (BelTA) – Belarus is set to conduct talks with the Export-Import Bank of China on cooperation in investment and privatization areas. The decision is envisaged in Council of Ministers’ Resolution No. 1226 of 15 September 2011, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian government.
According to the document, the Council of Ministers approved the draft framework agreement between the Government of Belarus and the Export-Import Bank of China on financial cooperation in privatization and China’s investment in Belarus in 2011-2013 as a basis for holding the relevant negotiations.
Economy Minister Nikolai Snopkov has been authorized to conduct the negotiations.
