The Belarusian Industry Ministry and the Chinese company Huawei Technologies have signed an agreement on scientific and technical cooperation. The ceremony took place at the Embassy of Belarus in Beijing, BelTA has learned.

The China National Machinery Industry Corporation SINOMACH is ready to partake in the privatization of large Belarusian companies including MTZ, BelAZ, and Minsk Motor Plant, President of the Chinese corporation Ren Hongbin said in a meeting with Belarus’ Vice Premier Anatoly Tozik in Beijing in 9 November.

Belarus-China trade turnover will approach the new record in late 2011 – three billion US dollars. The statement was voiced by the Belarusian Deputy Prime Minister Mr. Anatoly Tozik at the 12th session of the Joint Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation in Beijing, BELTA reports.

China will take part in the project to create a Belarusian satellite communication and broadcasting system. The project and other matters were discussed in detail at the meeting of Vice Premier of Belarus Anatoly Tozik with Ma Xingrui, Director General of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, in Beijing on 8 November.

A contract between the Belarusian government and the Chinese company Dagong Global Credit Rating was signed at the Embassy of Belarus in China on 8 November. The Chinese company has contracted to assign a sovereign credit rating to Belarus, BelTA has learned.

The construction projects in Minsk were discussed at a Beijing meeting of Deputy Minsk Mayor Sergei Radoman and Chairman of Beijing Uni-Construction Group Co., Ltd. (BUCC) Zhang Guilin, BelTA has learnt.
