In October China plans to launch trial air cargo deliveries to Orsha Aircraft Repair Plant where a modern multimodal transport and logistic center will be set up, Head of the Office for Strategic Development, Coordination and Investments of Transport Systems of the Belarusian Transport and Communications Ministry Pavel Bozhanov has told reporters, BelTA has learnt.

China’s engineering corporation Camce plans to build a bleached sulfate production facility in Belarus, with the annual capacity of 400,000 tonnes. The terms of the project were discussed at a meeting between Belarusian Prime Minister Sergei Sidorsky and President of the Chinese corporation Sinomach Ren Hongbin in Minsk on 9 September, BelTA has learnt.

Dates for completing procedures, which are required for implementing current and future Belarusian-Chinese investment projects have been specified. The dates are laid down by Council of Ministers resolution No 1260 of 30 August 2010, representatives of the Council of Ministers Office told BelTA.
