Week of Science and Technology of the Chinese Province of Guangdong in the Republic of Belarus

A Week of Science and Technology of the Chinese Province of Guangdong will be held in Minsk on 23-27 July (hereinafter – the Week). The event organizers from the Belarusian side are the Belarus State Committee for Science and Technology, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, State Enterprise «Scientific and Technological Park at the Belarusian National Technical University «Polytechnic», from the Chinese side – the Guangdong Province Government, Union of International Scientific and Technological Cooperation of Chinese Province of Guangdong and CIS countries.

Within the framework of the Week a number of events are scheduled: event opening ceremony with the Belarusian and Chinese Chief Executives’ address, Exhibition of the scientific and technological achievements of the Chinese Province of Guangdong and the Republic of Belarus, the Research Forum sections, official meetings at State administration, educational institutions and scientific organizations, at the Minsk leading enterprises.

The event is aimed at developing the scientific, technological and business cooperation between educational, research and industrial enterprises of the Republic of Belarus and the Chinese Province of Guangdong. Over 160 delegates from the Guangdong Province are coming to participate in the event. The delegation is composed of the representatives of the official and business community as well as the heads and specialists of 80 leading enterprises of the Chinese Province of Guangdong.
The sides are expected to sign the Agreement on scientific and technological cooperation between the Belarus State Committee for Science and Technology and the Guangdong Province Government.
