Back Belarus to increase dried milk and casein exports to China10 April 2009The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus is planning to increase exports of dairy products to China, spokeswoman for the ministry Daria Kozlovskaya told BelTA. The Ministry of Agriculture and Food of Belarus believes that increasing dried milk exports is one of the most promising ways of boosting exports to China. “Belarus could become one of the main exporters of this product to China,” Daria Kozlovskaya said. Belarus is also considering increasing the deliveries of casein to China. A trial 40-tonne consignment has already been shipped. The terms of cooperation and export of casein and dried milk will be discussed in the course of a visit of a Chinese delegation to Belarus. The Chinese guests are set to visit the Savushkin Produkt and Babushkina Krynka dairies. Daria Kozlovskaya noted that the quality of dried milk and casein made in Belarus meets the Chinese requirements. “Domestic producers have been introducing effective control management systems which provide for daily monitoring of acceptance of feed stock, production and dispatch of goods,” she added.
