MINSK, February 27 (BelTA) – Belarus will attend the Global China
Business Meeting, one of the world’s most prestigious economic
events. The 2009 edition of the Global China Business Meeting will
be held in Lisbon, BelTA learnt from Yury Seleznev, chief of the
press service of the Metolit Techno-Park of the Belarusian National
Technology University.

Legal and economic problems of investment projects
development with China are to be discussed by the Social Council of
Distributors at the Belarusian Confederation of Industrialists and
Entrepreneurs, BELTA learnt at the confederation.
The representatives of Belarusian business community will pay a visit to Beijing since February 28 – March 7, BELTA learnt at the Vitebsk Department of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In 2009, Minsk Tractor Works is planning to send 200 tractor sets to be assembled in the Chinese Urumqi City, where there operates assembling manufacturing of Belarusian machinery, BELTA learn at the enterprise. Last year saw 50 tractor sets to be sent to China. On the whole, the Minsk Tractor Works exported nearly 15 thous. of “Belarus” tractors in 2008; the new consumers of the Belarusian agricultural machinery appeared to be Bangladesh, Nepal, India China is planning to double the number of nuclear power stations (NPS) operating in the country and reach the capacity to 70 GW, which will make 5% of the total capacities of the national electric power branch, press agencies report |
