Planar Corporation to extend cooperation with Chinese corporation

Planar Corporation is planning to extend cooperation with the Chinese enterprises. The opportunities of new corporate activities were discussed during the visit of the Chinese delegation headed by Cao Jianlin, the Deputy Minister of Science and Technology of the PRC at “Planar” on July 26.

As BelTA learnt at the Department of Foreign Economic Relations of “Planar”, the Chinese experts thoroughly examined the activity of science and production association and the range of its production. The Chinese guests were particularly interested in new-generation equipment developed by the Planar Corporation, including modern pattern generators, steppers, photoacoustic units.

Cao Jianlin highly appraised the achievements of “Planar”. He noted that Belarusian and Chinese manufacturers of Electronics Machinery have many common interests, strengthening of their cooperation will stimulate mutual enrichment of scientific and manufacturing potential of the two countries.

The Chinese delegation suggested their Belarusian partners implementation of new joint projects on development of up-to-date optical mechanical and assembling equipment, and also on production of optical junctions, modern coordination systems and drives for precision parts of hard rock. The two parties also considered the prospects of joint production in the field of microelectronics. Particular contracts and agreements will be signed in the course of the “Planar” management’s visit to China, which is due to the end of the year.       

Planar Corporation constantly cooperates with the Chinese enterprises and companies. Nowadays, it supplies a wide range of high-technology equipment, including optical and assembling one, to China. Establishment of new contacts with the Chinese partners will ensure the growth of the local manufacturer production export, and draw additional foreign investments.
