Chinese company “Uhua” to build accommodation in Mogilev

Chinese company “Uhua” (Zhengzhou, Henan Province) will build accommodation in Mogilev. Such an agreement was reached in the course of negotiations between managerial staff of the City Executive Committee and the representatives of the Chinese company, who paid a 3-day working visit to Mogilev, BelTA learnt from economic board at Mogilev City Executive Committee.  

Following the results of the visit Mogilev City Executive Committee signed a protocol of intentions for cooperation with the Chinese partners, which presupposes design and construction of living premises at the company’s expense. Moreover, there was considered an opportunity to build objects of social and cultural importance at the company’s cost or at the cost of city budget.

To implement these goals there is planned creation of legal entity having foreign investments and building maintenance in Mogilev. To hit the targets on construction it will be provided with needed equipment, machinery, erecting cranes, concrete-mortar transfer systems, technological transport, and rigging. The new company will be provided with engineering and technology personnel, builders from China at amount of 500 people and more.

As it was noted at the City Committee, attraction of Chinese builders on Mogilev market will allow significant increase in house building in the regional centre, creating of sound price competition among building organizations, exchanging with cutting edge technologies and experience. For instance, in 2009 Mogilev is going to see construction, with participation of the Chinese partners, of nearly 220thous sq m of lodgings, which is 50thous sq m more than in the current year.

The City Executive Committee will provide building ground to the Chinese company with area of nearly 100thous sq m, and also provide services in organizational, legal, consulting, and technical fields in order to hit the target.
