BelAZ, CATIC Supply intend to produce quarry equipment in China jointly

BelAZ and Chinese state company CATIC Supply intend to produce quarry equipment in China jointly, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Industry Ministry.The agreement on implementation of the project has been reached during the 10th session of the Belarusian-Chinese Commission for Trade and Economic Cooperation which was held in Beijing last week. Attending the session were Deputy Industry Minister of Belarus Gennady Svidersky, representatives of BelAZ, MTZ and Gomselmash.
During the session, the Belarusian side and several Chinese companies have agreed to set up several joint production facilities. BelAZ and CATIC Supply have agreed to produce dump trucks. The sides also discussed the possibilities of setting up the joint ventures which will produce tractors Belarus and Gomselmash agricultural machinery in China.
