A large delegation of automotive industry managers and experts of People's Republic of China is to visit Belarus on 29th of March – 4th of April, - reports OJSC "Chinese automobiles" – the representative office of an official dealer of Chinese automakers Chery and Great Wall in Minsk

The delegation consists of key export managers of the larges automobile companies in CIS regions and Europe. 

Belarus is interested in expanding cooperation with the Chinese province of Henan in the field of innovative activity, Belta has learnt today from Tamara Serkova, the head of the International Scientific and Technical Cooperation Office of the State Committee on Science and Technology at the presentation-seminar of science and technology parks and hi-tech zones of the Chinese province Henan in Minsk.

Belarus and the PRC continue to hold negotiations over the terms of joint production of PA "Gomselmash" harvesters in China. This was presented to the President of the Republic of Belarus, Alexander Lukashenko by Zenon Lomat, the chairman of the State Control Committee of Belarus, within the framework of his report on the 14th of March, learnt BelTA from press service of the Head of State. 

In the course of the meeting there were touched the questions on trade and economic cooperation with China. 
  

Catic corporation has justified the investment requirement of the project to build a bleached pulp production at Svetlogorsk Cellulose and Cardboard Plant (CCP) at 240 million euros

According to Chinese experts, the sum will be enough to finance the construction and equip the plant with Chinese machinery. It will take about 3.5 years and will break even within six years.

The Belarusian-Chinese trade turnover is to approximate to $2 bln. in 2008. The condition and prospects of cooperation between Belarus and China were being discussed by Anatoly Tozik, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the People’s Republic of China, within the framework of his report to the Head of State Alexander Lukashenko.
