Regarding manufacturing world’s first mobile handset with solar battery

News agencies report world’s first mobile handset with solar battery was designed in China.

New handset’s storage battery can provide 20 minute talk time after 40 minutes of charging.

Photoelectric cells used in the handset’s design enable charging from both solar and electric light and from conventional power sources. The device weighs 140 g.

According to the representative of the company which designed such an innovation handset model, the fact of its appearance is an important step towards transition to alternative energy sources and thus is of paramount importance for both solving energy saving problems and reducing greenhouse gases emissions in China.
