8th meeting of the Belarusian-Chinese Committee on Trade and Economic

On January, 18 the Belarusian delegation headed by Z. Lomat, Chairman of the State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus, participated in the 8th meeting of the Belarusian-Chinese Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation. The Chinese part at the Committee’s meeting was represented by the delegation with Yui Guangzhou, Deputy Minister of Commerce of the PRC, at the head.

The meeting resulted in a number of documents signed: Memorandum of the 8th meeting of the Belarusian-Chinese Committee on Trade and Economic Cooperation, Memorandum of Cooperation in the sphere of business information exchange between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and Ministry of Commerce of the PRC, contract for Minsk TPP-2 reconstruction project.

The negotiation between Z. Lomat and Li Jinhua, the Auditor General of the People's Republic of China, were aimed at the discussion of issues in the sphere of exchange of experience and information between the supervising authorities of Belarus and China.

The Belarusian delegation members met with their Chinese colleagues. Thus, Rusetskiy A.M., Minister of Industry of the Republic of Belarus, had a meeting with the head of China National Aero-Technology Import and Export Corporation (CATIC). Tovpenets E.F., Deputy Minister of Energy of the Republic of Belarus, had talks with Ma Zhiu, the President of China National Corporation for Overseas Economic Cooperation.

Gaisenok V.A., Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, visited the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the PRC and met with Li Huei, Deputy Minister. Bobrov V.N., Head of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce, negotiated with Cheng Lin, the head of China’s Economic Exchange Association, and Zhang Vei, the head of China’s Foreign Trade Commission. Shulga V.E., Head of Bellesbumprom Concern, held talks with “Xuan Yuan” (XY Group) Vice President.
