Back Belarus’ Minskenergo takes over soft loan from China Exim Bank31 August 2007
The concessional loan was provided to the government for the reconstruction of Minsk-based co-generation power plant TETs-2.
The loan was extended against the security of Belarus’ Energy Ministry. The loan is serviced by Belpromstroybank. The Finance Ministry is supposed to pay the interests on the loan using republican budget funds. China National Corporation for Overseas Economic Cooperation has been authorized to work out the engineering design for the plant and supply two 32.5-megawatt power generating units. PRIME-TASS |
