30 января 2007 года по инициативе Посольства Китайской Народной Республики в Республике Беларусь в Национальной академии наук Беларуси состоялась Встреча по развитию белорусско-китайского научно-технического сотрудничества. 

On February, 1 A.Tozik, Belarus Ambassador to China, met with Bolat Nurgaliev, Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, in Belarusian Embassy in Beijing. In the framework of the meeting B.Nurgaliev told about the current situation and prospects of development of the SCO.

The Ambassador congratulated B.Nurgaliev on the appointment to this high position and provided the Secretary-General with arguments in favor of observer status for Belarus in the Organization.
