The Belarusian
government has instructed Minskenergo power-supplying company to
take over the 325.87 million-Yuan loan from China Exim Bank. The
Council of Ministers signed relevant resolution №1086.
The concessional loan was provided to the government for the
reconstruction of Minsk-based co-generation power plant TETs-2.

The National Olympic
Committee of the Republic of Belarus signed an advertisement
contract with a Chinese major sports outfit manufacturer – the Xtep
Company. On behalf of the Belarusian side the contract was signed
by G. Alekseenko, First Vice-President of the National Olympic
Committee of the Republic of Belarus, one of the representatives of
the Belarusian delegation at the Olympic Mission Chiefs Session
dedicated to the anniversary ahead to the Olympics-2008 opening
held in Beijing.
 From August 6th to
10th A. Grigorov, Minister of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of
Belarus; A. Alekseenko, Sherpa of the President of the Republic of
Belarus on Sports, Vice-Secretary of the National Olympic Committee
of the Republic of Belarus and G. Katulin, Secretary General of the
National Olympic Committee of the Republic of Belarus. The
Belarusian delegation took part in the seminar for the heads of the
National delegations at the XXIX Olympic Games.
In January-June 2007 the production association Gomselmash
exported goods worth of $50 million or 40% more as against the same
period of 2006. Gomselmash mainly exported grain and fodder
harvesters. One of the strategic directions of the export policy of
Gomselmash is increasing the export to the non-CIS member states.
Among trade partners of the Belarusian company is China, the Czech
Republic, Argentina and other countries.
From August 6 to 10 Beijing is going to welcome the session of
leaders of the teams – participants of the Olympic Games 2008. The
event is to be held in the Chinese capital. The Belarusian
delegation is represented by A, Grigorov, Head of the Belarusian
Olympic mission, Minister of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of
Belarus; G. Alekseenko, First Vice-President of the National
Olympic Committee; G. Katulin, Secretary General of the National
Olympic Committee.
