L.Maltsev to meet with Minister of Defense of China

“The Republic of Belarus is interested in further development and strengthening of military cooperation with China”, L.Maltsev, Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus and  General-Colonel, reported on September 13 during the meeting with Cao Gangchuan, Minister of Defense of China, who arrived for official visit in Minsk.

“I’m sure that the official visit of delegation of Chinese People's liberation army will give a strong  impetus to the development, friendship and mutual understanding not only between the armed forces of Belarus and China but between two countries as well”, L.Maltsev stated.

Quoting his words, the cooperation with China is the top priority of Belarusian foreign policy. ”Our relations are making good headway on the basis of mutual advantage and respect”, L.Maltsev stressed. 

On today’s meeting the Ministers of Defense of both the countries intend to make the interim results of the cooperation and determine further development of the relations. As Ministry of Defense reported, the priorities of Belarusian and Chinese cooperation in the military sphere are mutual development and application of high technologies in the military sphere, the same as mutual military expert  training in military training schools of Belarus and China.

On September 14, The Chinese delegation headed by Cao Gangchuan, General-Colonel, will visit the Military Academy of the Republic of Belarus.
