The state visit of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko to the People's Republic of China is over. During the visit Alexander Lukashenko negotiated with China President Xi Jinping. The sides confirmed the transition to a new special level of the dialogue and signed a joint declaration on establishing relations of trustful comprehensive strategic partnership and mutually beneficial cooperation.

Belarus and China have signed a package of agreements and memorandums on cooperation in various fields. These documents were signed in the presence of the two heads of state in Beijing on 29 September.
