Leaders of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) adopted a number of decisions aimed at expanding the organization. Among them was the decision to grant Belarus the observer status in the organization.

Over 30 companies are eager to become residents of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone, BelTA learned from Li Haixin, Director General of the private joint-stock company (SZAO) Industrial Park Development Company, on 8 July.

The Chinese company China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) will be the general contractor for electrifying the initial development area of the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone, the press service of the Belarusian Energy Ministry told BelTA.
